Hot Honey Ground Beef Bowl is a bold, sweet-and-spicy dish served over rice for an easy, satisfying weeknight meal.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, diced
3 tbsp hot honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
2 cups cooked rice
Toppings: green onions, sesame seeds
Instructions
In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until mostly cooked.
Add garlic and onion. Cook until softened.
Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, and hot honey.
Add chili flakes if using. Simmer until sauce thickens.
Spoon over rice and top with green onions or sesame seeds.
Notes
For extra richness, add a soft-boiled egg on top. Make it low carb by serving over cauliflower rice.Store leftovers in the fridge up to 4 days.
