Description
A hearty and creamy slow cooker crockpot chili mac and cheese, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 cup beef broth
2 cups elbow macaroni
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic.
2. Transfer to slow cooker with beans, tomatoes, broth, and spices.
3. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
4. Add pasta 20–30 minutes before serving.
5. Stir in cheese until melted and creamy.
6. Serve hot with desired toppings.
Notes
Add pasta later to avoid mushy texture.
Mix cheese in right before serving.
Top with sour cream, scallions, or jalapeños.
